I've gotten way behind again...

Friday I was thankful for:

Yesterday I was thankful for:
104. Poppie’s surgery went well!
He’s in the ICU, but that’s just standard procedure for the type of surgery he had. God is so good! But, the lesson from this incredibly long journey is that God is good, no matter the circumstance. Friday I was thankful for:
99. Living so close to the beach!
Luke and I went to the beach right after class. It was fantastic! I’ve lived in Florida for going on seven years now…but growing up in Indiana means I’ll never forget when “going to the beach” involved an airplane or 14+ hours trapped in a car. I’ll never stop being thankful for the beach!

Monday I was thankful for:
92. Old songs.
I have a playlist on my iPod of some of my favorite songs from my childhood. *NSync, Usher, and Eminem are the biggest contributors. Anyway, I can be in the worst mood and as soon as I start playing that playlist I’m dancing around my apartment lip-syncing into my hand with a smile on my face.

I bought a jean jacket at Goodwill for an 80’s party…but it was pretty plain. To spice things up I also bought a studded handbag…and I had glow in the dark neon beads at home. It’s still in the works…but I think it is going to be PERFECT!
