I’ve got some catching up to do…

Friday I was thankful for:

99. Living so close to the beach!

Luke and I went to the beach right after class. It was fantastic! I’ve lived in Florida for going on seven years now…but growing up in Indiana means I’ll never forget when “going to the beach” involved an airplane or 14+ hours trapped in a car. I’ll never stop being thankful for the beach!

Saturday I was thankful for:

100. My family!

My parents and baby brother came to see me this weekend! It really helped the bout of homesick-ness I’ve been going through lately.

Sunday I was thankful for:

101. MY NEW PHONE!

I finally broke and got an iPhone. No shock here, but I’m obsessed. It’s the most perfect thing. Other than my MacBook Pro, of course. I even synced my iCal with my iPhone and GEEKED OUT when I realized that it was all over the iCloud. SO COOL!

Monday I was thankful for:

102. Babysitting!

The boys I babysit for are so sweet, and they’re always making me laugh! Hanging out with those guys always brightens my day! 

Today I was thankful for:

103. #hashtaglessonswithsara

A dear friend and I sent iMessages back and forth today practicing our hash tag skills. It was silly, and it was a great way to get me through an awfully boring class. Thanks for making me smile from 250 miles away! #iloveyou #imthankfulforyou #imblessedtoknowyou

*Note: Tomorrow is my Poppie’s surgery. The doctors have given us a great prognosis for post surgery. They really think that this is going to be a “cure”! (And that is completely the work of God…even with Chemo/Radiation the survival rate for people with the type of cancer that he was diagnosed with in October is less than 5% so thank you for praying!) Please please please keep my family in your prayers tomorrow, and please pray for the surgeons that will be conducting his surgery. I’m so thankful that you guys have supported me so much through all of this, and your continued prayer would be greatly appreciated!
